How to escape the rat race without quitting the business that pays for it

There are 2 marathons an entrepreneur can run. The grind marathon is a reactionary race to nowhere, where the business owns you and every year looks like the last. The wealth marathon is run on purpose, with a finish line, a pace and a plan.

Stop the Daily Grind is a free guide to switching races. It is built for business owners who are busy, profitable and stuck, and who have realised that working harder inside the business will never buy the freedom they started it for.

The core of it is a wealth building plan that runs from a 5 question vision exercise down to the daily commitments that keep you on pace, and a chapter on the single hardest shift, from operator to owner.

What is inside Stop the daily grind

    Five chapters, one plan.

    1. Chapter 1, grind marathon versus wealth marathon: how to tell which one you are running
    2. Chapter 2, charting your path to wealth: 5 vision questions, then quarterly objectives, monthly milestones, weekly priorities and daily commitments
    3. Chapter 3, 8 habits of highly successful wealth marathoners, from blocking the schedule to surrounding yourself with other marathoners
    4. Chapter 4, shifting from operator to owner: your zone of genius, delegating everything else, and standard operating procedures for the rest
    5. Chapter 5, staying the course, even when you want to quit

Who this free guide is for

If you want passive income tips, this is not it. The guide assumes you own a real business with real staff.

If your company would stop if you took 3 weeks off, and you have not taken 3 weeks off in years, this was written for you.

    How to use it

Answer the 5 vision questions in chapter 2 honestly, including the one about legacy. Then do chapter 4 before chapter 3. The habits are easier to keep once you have delegated the work that was eating the time.

    Questions people ask before downloading

What is the difference between the grind marathon and the wealth marathon?

The grind marathon is reactive: the business sets the pace and the owner runs to keep up. The wealth marathon is planned: a vision of the finish, broken into quarterly, monthly, weekly and daily commitments the owner controls.

How do you move from operator to owner?

Chapter 4 gives 3 steps: get clear on your zone of genius, delegate or outsource everything else to a team of A players, and write standard operating procedures for the key processes so the business runs without you in the room.

Is this a financial planning guide?

No. It is a guide to running the business so it produces wealth and time instead of consuming both. Investment decisions and financial planning need a licensed adviser.
