How does your team actually see you? Find the gap in a week, no facilitator.
You have a picture of how you lead. The people around you have one too, and the two are rarely the same. A full 360 with a facilitator and a written report takes weeks and costs money, so most leaders never see the gap. This tool gives you the gap in about a week, with no account, no facilitator, and no server storing who said what.
You rate yourself on twelve behaviours in four areas: clarity, listening, follow through and growth. Then you send one link to three to five people who work with you. Each answers the same twelve statements about you, anonymously, in about three minutes, and gets a short result code to send back to you. You paste the codes in and see your self rating against theirs, dimension by dimension, plus an alignment score from 0 to 100 and one of four results.
Nobody's individual answers are shown, only the average, and raters never see your name. Choose people who will be honest. A friendly three tells you less than a hard three.
Blind Spot 360 Lite
How does my team actually see me, and where is the gap?
What you get
- Your self rating on twelve behaviours
- One link to send to 3 to 5 people, no names, no email
- The gap between how you see yourself and how they do, per dimension
- An alignment score out of 100 and its band
How it works
Step one. You answer the twelve statements about yourself. Your self scores are shown straight away and kept in your browser. No email is needed to start.
Step two. You get a rater link. Send it to between three and five people who work with you, by whatever channel you normally use. The tool does not send anything for you, so it never holds anyone's email address.
Step three. Each person opens the link, sees the same twelve statements written about "this leader" with no name attached, answers them in about three minutes, and says how they work with you: report, peer, manager or other. At the end they get a short result code. They send that code back to you. The code carries their scores and nothing that identifies them.
Step four. You paste the codes into this page. When three or more are in, the tool computes the gap between your scores and theirs, dimension by dimension, in your browser, and shows your alignment score, your result and the direction of the gap. Nothing is stored on a server, so bookmark or save your codes: there is no way to recover them if you lose them.
What raters see and what you see. Raters never see your name or your self scores. You never see individual answers, only the average, plus a note when your raters disagree with each other by a wide margin. The relationship question is shown to you only as counts, and only when at least two raters share a category.
A leader you work with has asked for your view
Twelve statements about how this leader works, then one question about how you work with them. No name, no email and no IP address is stored. At the end you get a short code to send back to them by whatever channel they used to send you this link.
Step 2: send this link to 3 to 5 people
They answer the same twelve statements about you, anonymously, and get a code. Ask them to send the code back to you. Preview what they will see.
Step 3: enter rater codes
Paste each code on its own line. The comparison appears at 3 codes and stops counting at 5. Codes from a different round are refused.

Your code
Send this code to the person who asked for your view. It holds your twelve answers and nothing else. The leader sees only the average of everyone who answers, never one code on its own.
The four results
Every completed run lands on one of these pages, with your own scores drawn from the link the tool gives you. Each one is readable without taking the tool.
- In StepThey see you as you see yourself. Now ask a harder room.
- CloseYou mostly agree, with one gap specific enough to close.
- Out of StepA real gap on more than one dimension. It stings and works.
- Different RoomsYou and your raters are describing two different leaders.
How this differs
This site already has a 360 Feedback Readiness diagnostic, which asks whether you are ready to run a 360. This is the 360. It is not a survey platform like Microsoft Forms, SurveyMonkey or Culture Amp, and it is not a facilitated programme: there is no account, no facilitator, and no report to buy.
You rate yourself, three to five people rate you anonymously, and you get one number for the gap. The questions to ask in a full 360 are in the 360 feedback question bank and the structure for running one properly is in the 360 feedback template.
What happens to your responses
Your score, your result and your dimension scores are shown on screen without an email address. An anonymous copy of the score and the dimension scores, with no name, email or free text, joins the aggregate statistics for this tool, which are published only when a cut has at least 30 completions. Email is optional. Only if you ask for the result by email is it written to your contact record, and only then. The full rules are on the methodology page.
Common questions
How does the 360 work without an account or a server?
You rate yourself on twelve statements and get a link to send to three to five people. Each answers the same statements about you, anonymously, and gets a short code at the end. They send that code back to you by whatever channel you like. You paste the codes in, and the gap is computed in your browser. Nothing is stored on a server.
Can raters see my name or can I see their answers?
No on both. Raters see the statements about this leader, never a name, so a forwarded link identifies nobody. You see only the average across raters, dimension by dimension, and a note when your raters disagree with each other by a wide margin. Individual answers are never shown, and you cannot see who sent which code.
How many people should I ask?
At least three, so that no single answer can be picked out, and at most five, so the round finishes in a week. Choose people who will be honest rather than people who like you, and mix them: at least one peer and, if you can, the person you report to. Three reports tell you how your reports see you and nothing else.
What does the alignment score mean?
It is 100 minus twice the average gap between your dimension scores and your raters' scores. A gap of about twelve points gives 75, a gap of 25 gives 50, and a gap of 50 or more gives 0. The four results are In Step, Close, Out of Step and Different Rooms. The page also shows the direction: whether you rate yourself higher or lower than they do.
What if only two people answer?
The comparison is shown only when three or more codes have been pasted in. With fewer, you see your self scores and a line asking you to send the link to one more person. Codes have no expiry on this tool, so you can wait for the third and paste all three together whenever they arrive.
