360 Feedback Statistics: Self vs Team Gap
This benchmark publishes once at least 30 leaders have completed a round, with three or more raters each, in the current window. Until then the count is shown as below the reporting floor and no figures are published.
Once a cut reaches 30 rounds, this page shows the gap between how leaders rate themselves and how the people they asked rate them. A round counts only when three or more people answered.
It reports the mean signed gap overall and per dimension, the share of rounds where the leader rated themselves higher, lower or about the same, the level distribution, the mean rater count and the share of rounds that reached five raters, and the dimension with the largest mean gap by role level. Cuts by role level and region, and, once large enough, by the raters' relationship to the leader, each with its own floor of 30 rounds. The method is on the methodology page.
Current edition
Fewer than 30 completed rounds in this cut. A round counts only when three or more people answered. Nothing is published below the floor. Next refresh: 2026-10-12.
Collection started on 2026-09-22. This page is rewritten when a refresh runs; the change log below carries every edition.
What this page will report
So that no cut is chosen after seeing the data, here is what is published when n reaches 30, and nothing else:
- Mean signed gap overall
- Mean signed gap by dim
- Direction share
- Level distribution (share of completions in each band)
- Mean rater count
- Reached five share
- Largest gap dim by role level
- Role level
- Region
- Rater relationship
The floor rule
No cut is published with fewer than 30 completions. Where a cut falls below the floor, the chapter is published with the count and no figures. The floor is set before the edition and never lowered. Completions are counted, not people: the capture is anonymous and cookieless, so a returning visitor is not identifiable and is not de-duplicated. Ad blockers drop some events, so every count is a floor. The full rules are on the methodology page.

The four results
Every completed run lands on one of these pages, with your own scores drawn from the link the tool gives you. Each one is readable without taking the tool.
- In StepThey see you as you see yourself. Now ask a harder room.
- CloseYou mostly agree, with one gap specific enough to close.
- Out of StepA real gap on more than one dimension. It stings and works.
- Different RoomsYou and your raters are describing two different leaders.
