Task Exposed
Level. Scores 51 to 75. Most of your week is exposed. Time to reshape it yourself.
This check sorts your own weekly tasks by how much AI already does or could do them. It cannot predict whether your role, your employer or your industry will change, and it is not career or financial advice. The figures it compares you against are dated and cited on the statistics page.
Your exposure score is between 51 and 75. Much of your week follows the same steps each time or already runs faster with a tool, less of it is judgement and people, and decisions about AI in your work are mostly made elsewhere. This check calls that Task Exposed. It is a reading of your tasks, not a forecast about your job.
Say the uncomfortable part plainly. If more than half of what you do each week could be done by a tool with someone checking it, someone will eventually ask why it is not. It is better to ask that question yourself, first, than to hear it in a budget review.
It is also not the end of the story. A high exposure score describes the tasks you do today. It says nothing about the tasks you could do next month. The real question is how much judgement your role could hold if the routine part shrank, and who gets to decide that.
What to do this week. List the three decisions in your week that nobody else could make as well as you: a trade off, a customer you read well, a colleague you help unstick. Then ask your manager for one more piece of work like that each month, and offer to hand a routine task to a tool in return. You are trading replaceable hours for judgement hours, in the open.
If your Direction bar is your highest, start there. Ask to be part of the next decision about which tools your team uses. The people least exposed are the ones who decide what the AI does, and the AI Leader Readiness Index shows what that looks like for a leader.

If you do not manage people
Your next one on one. Offer the trade before it is asked of you: here are the tasks in my week a tool could take on. I would like to hand them over and do more of this kind of work instead. Name the judgement work you want. A person who proposes the change is in a different position from one who waits for it.
Build the own list. Each week, add one task to your own list: a decision you make, a customer you handle, a colleague you help. In three months you want to be able to show a different week from the one you scored today.
Leading people is judgement work. The free leadership style quiz shows how you would do it.
If you manage people
If your own week scores this high, your team's weeks may look similar, and they are watching how you handle it. Your people could answer these twelve statements about their own work. The move is to decide in the open: which tasks go to tools, which stay human, and what each person does with the time. Silence here reads as a plan nobody wants to say out loud.
The AI Leader Readiness Index shows where you stand as the person making those calls. The 5 Minute Leader is the daily habit set for the people side of the job, the part this check scores as judgement.
