How much has AI actually changed how you lead? Score it, then see where you stand.
You have probably been asked whether you use AI. This index asks something different: how much AI has actually changed how you lead. Not whether you have tried a tool, but whether it has altered a decision you made, a meeting you run, a conversation you had with your team, or who is accountable when it goes wrong.
Twelve statements about the last thirty days, in four areas: judgment, practice, team and governance.
About four minutes, no email to see your result. You get a score from 0 to 100, one of four levels and four dimension bars. Your anonymous score also feeds a dated benchmark of other leaders by role and region, which only exists if leaders complete it. There is no hype on this page. If AI has not changed how you lead, the index will say so, and that is a useful thing to know.

How this differs
This site already has an AI readiness assessment, which measures where you place AI in your own work. This index is a second, separate instrument with a different job: it scores how much AI has changed the way you lead a team, and it produces a dated benchmark by role level and region that others can cite. None of the dimension or level names is shared between the two. Take both if you want the personal read and the benchmark.
What happens to your responses
Your score, your result and your dimension scores are shown on screen without an email address. An anonymous copy of the score and the dimension scores, with no name, email or free text, joins the aggregate statistics for this tool, which are published only when a cut has at least 30 completions. Email is optional. Only if you ask for the result by email is it written to your contact record, and only then. The full rules are on the methodology page.
Common questions
How is this different from the AI readiness assessment already on this site?
That assessment measures where you place AI in your own work and gives you a personal read. This index measures how much AI has changed the way you lead a team, in four areas: judgment, practice, team and governance. It also feeds a dated benchmark by role and region. The two share no dimension or level names, and you can take both.
Do I need to be an expert in AI to score well?
No. None of the twelve statements asks about tools or technical skill. They ask whether AI has changed a decision, a meeting, a conversation with your team, or who is accountable when it goes wrong. A leader who uses AI heavily for drafts and summaries but has never asked their team about it will score lower than one who uses it less and leads with it more.
Does the index ask about my team's enthusiasm for AI?
Not in this version. The twelve statements ask about your own judgment, practice, team conversations and governance. The Explorer and Frontrunner result pages ask you to estimate your team's enthusiasm and then to check it with them, because leaders who guess are often reading their own enthusiasm rather than their team's.
What are the four levels?
Spectator, 0 to 25, where AI has not yet changed how you lead. Explorer, 26 to 50, where you use it personally but not yet as a leader. Practitioner, 51 to 75, where the change is real and you could name it. Frontrunner, 76 to 100, where you could describe the change in detail, including who answers when it goes wrong.
What happens to my score?
Your result is shown without an email. Your score, level and dimension scores are captured anonymously, with no name, email or IP address, and feed the benchmark page, which publishes nothing for any cut with fewer than 30 completions. You can optionally say your role level and region so the benchmark can report by those cuts.
