Leader Burnout Statistics: Readings and Levels
This benchmark publishes once at least 30 leaders have completed the test in the current window. Until then the count is shown as below the reporting floor and no figures are published.
Once a cut reaches 30 completions, this page shows what leaders who completed the leader burnout test on this site look like as a group: the share reading as Steady, Depleted, Wrong Seat or Environment, the level distribution by score, the share who scored "told to improve without being told how" at the worst end, and one headline figure: of leaders who read as Wrong Seat on a first pass, the share whose me bar was also at 25 or below, which is the share for whom it looked like the seat and was depletion.
Cuts by role level, region, device class and referrer type. Nothing is published below 30 completions, and every figure on this instrument is rounded to the nearest 5 percent. This is not clinical data. The method is on the methodology page.
Current edition
Fewer than 30 leaders in this cut. Nothing is published below that floor, and on this instrument nothing is published without rounding. Next refresh: 2026-10-12.
Collection started on 2026-09-22. This page is rewritten when a refresh runs; the change log below carries every edition.
What this page will report
So that no cut is chosen after seeing the data, here is what is published when n reaches 30, and nothing else:
- Reading distribution
- Level distribution (share of completions in each band)
- Wrong seat with low me share
- Item11 worst end share
- Role level
- Region
- Device class
- Referrer type
The floor rule
No cut is published with fewer than 30 completions. Where a cut falls below the floor, the chapter is published with the count and no figures. The floor is set before the edition and never lowered. Completions are counted, not people: the capture is anonymous and cookieless, so a returning visitor is not identifiable and is not de-duplicated. Ad blockers drop some events, so every count is a floor. The full rules are on the methodology page.

The four results
Every completed run lands on one of these pages, with your own scores drawn from the link the tool gives you. Each one is readable without taking the tool.
- SteadyYour energy is holding. Watch the bars, not the score.
- DepletedYour lowest reading is you. It is the most recoverable one.
- Wrong SeatYour lowest reading is the seat. A preference, not a failure.
- EnvironmentYour lowest reading is the environment. It is not an excuse.
